Young successful designer Marko Lopatic invited us to his ice fashion show with a preview of his first women’s swimming suits collection made with the help of 3 D printer.
Marko was looking for a new inspiration and the way how to implement his ideas with the help of technology. That is how he came up with the idea of creating a swimming suit collection using 3D printer.
Prague, Tipsport Arena, March 7, 2014 -for the first time in the history of Czech fashion Marko Lopatic started a project which clearly makes fashion art uses the most advanced manufacturing processes and symbolizes the joy of playful clothing. After brutal game of 2 hockey teams HC Lev Praha vs. Medvescak Zahreb the red carpet were put on the ice, the band Wretched Beauty started to perform. The swimming suits collection was represented by famous czech models: Rabštejnková Christina , Elizabeth Buck, Kate Votavová , Lucie Smatanová and Jana Dolezelova
3D printing technology is used everywhere, but no one ever done clothes with the help of it. It was of course just an impulse for me and the possibility to get more familiar with the ability of of 3D technology. I knew it is possible to use it in that way
explained Marko Lopatic
We must say that show was pretty successful and we take this opportunity to wish Marko to create more non-standart successful shows and all the best in his various creative pursuits.
